International Seafood Company SAOC · Duqm, Sultanate of Oman

From the Arabian Seato the world’s tables.

Oman’s national seafood canner. From our plant in Duqm we produce up to 100 million cans of tuna and sardines a year — under the Simak brand and for private-label partners.

Who we are

Established in 2019 in the Duqm Fisheries Industrial Zone, within the Special Economic Zone at Duqm.

Our story

Simak is the value-added arm of Oman’s fisheries sector. From our plant in Duqm we turn the catch landed on Oman’s coast into high-quality canned tuna and sardines — for families across Oman and the Gulf, and for brands and distributors around the world.

  • A national company

Part of Fisheries Development Oman (FDO), the fisheries investment arm of the Oman Investment Authority.

  • Industrial scale

Among the largest tuna and sardine canneries in the region — two production lines and up to 100 million cans a year.

  • Omani origin

Direct sourcing from artisanal fishermen and SMEs at Duqm fishing port, less than 3 km from our plant.

  • A manufacturing partner

Private-label production for retailers, distributors and food-service brands, exported from the Duqm SEZ.
